Apply to Become a EuroMCM Student Ambassador
Represent EuroMCM at your school or university and help more students discover mathematical modelling.
EuroMCM Student Ambassadors introduce the competition to students, academic societies and school or university communities. The role is flexible and can be carried out alongside your studies.
What You Will Do
As a Student Ambassador, you may:
- Share EuroMCM announcements and competition information
- Introduce EuroMCM to student societies, departments and classmates
- Encourage interested students to form teams and participate
- Contact relevant academic communities or university organisations
- Support selected online or campus-based promotional activities
- Provide feedback on student interest at your institution
Who Can Apply
We welcome applications from students who:
- Are interested in mathematics, modelling, data science, engineering, economics or related fields
- Enjoy connecting with students and academic communities
- Can communicate clearly and responsibly
- Are willing to promote EuroMCM within their institution
Previous ambassadorial, organisational or promotional experience is welcome, but not required.
Recognition and Benefits
Active Student Ambassadors will receive:
- An official EuroMCM Student Ambassador Certificate
- Recognition of their contribution to the EuroMCM community
- Opportunities to build communication, outreach and leadership experience
Ambassadors who successfully complete the required outreach activities may also be eligible for a registration fee waiver for one team in which they participate.
